The Rosewood Ensemble is a St. Louis based string quartet comprised of four highly talented professional musicians: Cynthia Bowermaster and Ann Hirschl Magliari, violins, Dee Sparks, viola, and Marian Drake, cello. The group's members are all graduates of top Music Conservatories and bring a high level of expertise to the group. They regularly perform with ensembles including the St. Louis Symphony, the Bach Society of St. Louis, the St. Louis Chamber Orchestra, and at the Fox Theater.

The Ensemble's versatile repertoire, suitable for a variety of occasions, is all-encompassing ranging from the Baroque music of Bach, Handel, and Vivaldi through Mozart and Beethoven to Joplin Rags, Strauss Waltzes and up to the present with jazz standards and contemporary pops tunes. Our musical selections are carefully chosen and are sure to bring a special elegance to any event.
