| "We were married on November 1st, 2008 at
the City Museum in downtown St. Louis. My husband and I are not people you would ever
call "traditional," so we wanted music that would reflect our personal style. For that,
The Rosewood Ensemble was the perfect choice.
Working with Dee Sparks was not only easy, but also a great pleasure. We chose the
Rosewood Ensemble because their repertoire included a good variety of contemporary
selections, but it was Dee's expertise that helped us make the selections that really
worked for us. It didn't take long before we had landed on “Wonderful World” (my favorite
version was performed by Louis Armstrong), “All You Need is Love” by The Beatles and
“Clocks” by Coldplay. In addition, we asked Dee to arrange for us a version of one of
our favorite songs: “Starlight” by Muse. The result was absolutely perfect. It was so
beautiful that I had chills walking down the aisle.
The Rosewood Ensemble also played during our cocktail reception immediately following
the ceremony. Again, we requested that they play from their contemporary repertoire,
and it was fantastic. It really set the tone for a fun evening. Many of our guests
commented that it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. Dee Sparks and
The Rosewood Ensemble were a big part of making that possible."

"The Rosewood Ensemble was the highlight and tone-setter for our Navy Birthday
Ball Celebration. Attendees from around the country noted their versatility and
charm—playing everything from sea shanties and ragtime favorites to more classic
pieces. Their stage presence and audience rapport was graceful and engaging , but
not intrusive to the convivial atmosphere we – with their help- were able to
achieve!" ~ Commander Russell Ashford,
U.S. Transportation Command, Morale & Welfare Chairman |

"The Rosewood Ensemble has been a joy to work with as part of an awards ceremony during
the Saint Louis Art Fair. Over the last 2 years they have provided a professional presentation
and were extremely easy to work with. Without hesitation, I would recommend the Rosewood Ensemble
to compliment any event or reception… private or business." ~ David Smith,
Chairman of the Board, Cultural Festivals (producer of the St. Louis Art Fair)

"We had set up a great venue and wonderful food for our Holiday party, but the addition
of the Rosewood Ensemble to our ambiance took our celebration to a new level of classy and
elegant. Dee and the Ensemble were very easy to work with, professional and simply amazing
musicians. At an amazing price, this is the best thing we could have added to our celebration
and I will be using them again and again!" ~ Laura O'Donnell,

"Some girls dream about the perfect wedding dress. I , however dreamt about my perfect
wedding music and you took my dreams and put them on your music stands. It was an exciting
process, hand-picking and “designing” our wedding music-but even more exciting was that
I had you all to work with because you cared. You arranged , did research and performed
beautifully. Thank you so much for everything! Your presence at our day was a blessing!"

Sting, and the animated classics were a huge hit! We couldn't have been more pleased

"This is just a short note to let you know how excited I am to, once again, have
Rosewood Ensemble play for one of my daughter's wedding. I know what a wonderful
performance you will provide. We were thrilled to have you play for our first daughter's
wedding a year and a half ago. You and the other talented musicians of Rosewood Ensemble
were an integral part of an extraordinary day for our family.
The Rosewood Ensemble's ability to create such beautiful music not only set the mood in
the church but continually delighted us with each luscious note from start to finish.
Our guests were not only treated to a wonderful prelude concert but were drawn in
throughout the entire mass. I can hardly wait for the next wedding!"
